The Drapers Sustainable Fashion Conference 2022

Published on Apr 11, 2022
Clothing made with biodegradable fibers are often promoted as sustainable and part of a circular economy, but experts say no.
The Drapers Sustainable Fashion Conference and Awards takes place in person in London on April 21, 2022. Alistair Williamson of The LYCRA Company is joining the opening panel discussion on “Shifting sustainability off the side-lines: become a driving force of change” at this year’s conference.

The panel discussion Alistair is participating in will explore the fashion industry’s role in today’s wider shift towards sustainable living and how businesses can really embrace being more environmentally responsible in their ongoing business strategies, reduce virgin material consumption, and how they can communicate and lead change that really makes a difference.

The LYCRA Company is an industry leader and driving force in fiber innovation, developing sustainable solutions to address critical needs in the industry, and promoting supply chain transparency. Explore our approach to sustainability by visiting our Planet Agenda webpage and discover some of our most popular sustainable products made with recycled resources.
