Billon Design, a French knitted fabric producer, is incorporating LYCRA® XTRA LIFE™ fiber into their new spring/summer 2022 range. The decision to add LYCRA® XTRA LIFE™ fiber ensures that these new fabrics are more resistant to damage from the sun, creams and chlorine, which helps them maintaining their color and shape 10 times longer than unprotected fabrics.

Two of the new releases are brand new high-end jacquard fabrics with delicate, chic tweed patterns. The first, a chevron patterned fabric (ref.23582), is available in a soft blue-grey tone with a touch of gold LUREX® and shimmering white polyester, while the other new tweed effect fabric (ref.23587) catches the eye with its golden, slightly coppery, thread on a stylish matte black background.

Additionally, Billon Design is releasing two new embossed jacquards. The first (ref. 23616), is a geometric design that is available in a magenta red with a golden LUREX® thread, while the second (ref. 23614) new fabric is available in a turquoise with a golden LUREX® thread.

Billon Design is known for its range of plain meshes created with recycled polyamide and LYCRA® fiber. For summer 2022, Billon Design is going a step further and will release its very first knitted fabric developed with recycled dyed yarns and polyamide spinning waste. This high-quality recycled version performs and feels exactly like standard polyamide and will be available with a classic stripe on the very fine gauge.

All the fabrics have been developed with LYCRA® XTRA LIFE™ fiber to create the perfect combination of fashion and performance.
