LIVE! debuts activewear collection with bio-derived LYCRA® EcoMade fiber

That dream is possible with the new Upfit capsule collection from LIVE!, the beloved Brazilian activewear brand that prizes sustainability. The luxuriously soft, second-skin garments are made from Upfit fabric, a new material from LIVE! that's powered by bio-derived LYCRA® EcoMade fiber, our sustainable fiber innovation.

LIVE! is among the first brands in the world to produce a collection with a preview sample of our bio-derived LYCRA® EcoMade fiber, and the first in Latin America. The Upfit fabric was recognized as a Selection in the pants and tights category of the 2024 ISPO Awards, and bio-derived LYCRA® EcoMade fiber won a Top 5 Award in the fibers and insulation category.

Featuring a jumpsuit, sports bra, and leggings — all in bright, uplifting white — the Upfit garments were manufactured in Brazil for a smaller carbon footprint. They also offer UPF50+ protection from the sun, so you can sweat outdoors with no sunburn worries.

The LYCRA Company and LIVE! worked closely to develop the Upfit fabric and promote the capsule collection throughout the region. In June 2024, LIVE! began developing Upfit, and on December 13, 2024, LIVE! and The LYCRA Company hosted a special event to debut the capsule collection at Arpoador beach in Rio de Janeiro. At the beach event, guests learned about the collection and the two companies’ innovations, then enjoyed a moment of meditation and a beach cleanup, acknowledging and honoring a commitment to the future of the planet.
