FABRICS MADE WITH LYCRA® EASY SET FIBER CAN BE HEAT-SET WITHOUT SCORCHING THE PRIMARY YARN
With LYCRA® EASY SET fiber, fabric makers can either heat-set fabrics at a lower temperature or use standard temperatures for a shorter period. Both options mean reduced energy consumption and potential cost savings for mills, plus brighter colors, whiter whites, and natural yarns with a softer hand.
LYCRA® EASY SET fiber fuses to itself at 175 degrees Celsius, allowing for free-cut edges in circular knits. It is also effective in molded fabric applications, such as bra cups, delivering deep molding and excellent shape retention.
