High visibility, low impact
Since its founding in 2000, PULSAR® has been evolving and innovating in the protective-clothing sector. Today a leading producer of high-performance, high-visibility safety garments in the UK, the company got its start making reflective accessories for the cycle and equestrian markets. Over time, PULSAR® continued adding to its portfolio until it landed on high-visibility safety garments for the professional sector in 2007 and knew it had found its niche. Now, it’s pushing even further with a focus on sustainability.
The recently released PULSAR® Life collection is the company’s most eco-friendly range, featuring high-vis workwear, warm wear, and waterproof gear tailored to fit both men and women. It’s the company’s biggest effort so far to reach its sustainability goals.
Each piece in the collection was thoughtfully designed with more-sustainable ingredients, such as recycled polyester and Global Recycled Standard-certified materials.
Among those key ingredients is THERMOLITE® T3 EcoMade insulation. Made from at least 35% recycled PET bottles, THERMOLITE® T3 EcoMade insulating fiber is also GRS-certified and delivers permanent, lightweight warmth to a variety of garments. The PULSAR® Life collection features two durable, high-visibility coats made with THERMOLITE® T3 EcoMade insulation.

The right jacket for cold climates
The reversible puffer jacket from the PULSAR® Life collection features a variety of recycled materials, including our sustainable insulation, which offers soft, breathable, quick-drying warmth. The jacket meets high-visibility standards for employees in high-risk areas, as well as standards for protection in cold environments.
Staying dry and comfortable
The PULSAR® Life insulated parka meets high standards for waterproofing and breathability, as well as visibility in high-risk areas. THERMOLITE® T3 EcoMade insulation is a key ingredient in the jacket, providing quick-drying, breathable warmth.
When PULSAR® was developing its reversible puffer and insulated parka, the product development team carried out testing to compare THERMOLITE® EcoMade insulation against an unbranded insulation; they soon found that our insulating fabric came out on top. Its lightweight warmth also helped the puffer reach the EN 14058 standard to certify the garment for protection against cold, providing necessary warmth for those working outdoors in all sorts of climates, including in construction zones, on the railways, roadways, wind farms, and more.
