LYCRA® dualFX® technology represents the latest textile fabric innovation that facilitates the design and manufacturing of better garments. This technology is composed of two complementary stretch fibers: polyester bi-component fiber and spandex (elastane).

By combining these two fibers, our technology creates high-quality denim fabric with consistent performance, superior stretch, and exceptional lifespan. To ensure that our innovative design stays true to form, LYCRA® dualFX™ technology is only available at Dual Core authorized mills.

The Challenge:

As denim fabric stretch increases, so does the tendency for fabric growth or shrinkage. This can negatively impact garment performance and lead to poor fitting jeans that don’t hold their shape, product returns, and dissatisfied consumers.

Patented LYCRA® dualFX® technology consists of two stretch fibers–one spandex (elastane) and the other polyester bi-component fiber—that create denim with unmatched performance. LYCRA® fiber provides durable stretch for comfort and fit, while LYCRA® T400® fiber provides bounce-back recovery for exceptional shape retention. These fibers are put together and covered with cotton to achieve an authentic denim look and feel, while offering extra flexibility, all-day comfort and lasting fit. This technology is part of our Dual Core patent estate and authentic LYCRA® dualFX® fabric can only be purchased from Dual Core authorized mills.
