About Kaltex

Kaltex was founded in 1925 by six brothers of the Kalach family, who began selling and buying textile products in Mexico. Today, members of the Kalach family own and operate Kaltex.

Kaltex built its first denim fabric mill in 1996 and is now a full-service textile company that produces acrylic fiber, yarn, fabrics, clothing, and home textile products. It employs more than 18,000 people in North, Central, and South America and exports its denim fabric products worldwide.

The key to Kaltex's success is its diversity of denim fabrics and products, scale of production, and commitment to customer service and the environment.

Kaltex has received certifications including OEKO-TEX®, Recycled Claim Standard (RCS), Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC), and Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP). Kaltex is also part of the U.S. Cotton Trust Protocol, further solidifying their commitment to sustainable and ethical practices throughout its supply chain.

Kaltex collaborated with long-term partners, The LYCRA Company, to develop garments with LYCRA® ADAPTIV fiber to produce great fitting, size-inclusive garments that move with the wearer effortlessly.
